We had flooding this week due to A LOT of snow melt and some rain. One of the deer roadkill recorded may have been a drowning instead of a kill. It was lying on the side of the road next to the Housatonic River which flooded some low lying areas next to the road. On closer inspection~~ there didn't seem to be any obvious broken bones or blood. Just a thought?
